Travel document

Hello,

First i would like to thank everyone who help and suport in this forum, my RP expired on Oct 15
I spent only two months in Canada, i work in middle east, however i want to know if i continue to work for couple of years still i can apply for travel document to enter canada or it should be obtain in some certain time???

If you don't meet the residency obligation, then when you apply for a PR Travel document most likely it will end with your PR status being revoked.
Staying outside Canada for work is not a valid reason to not meet residency obligation of staying in Canada 2 of every 5 years.

The reason that i didnt meet the required days is when i moved to canada before my rp exipre of 2 yrs i stayed with my family, my mom got sick after two months of my staying ,so we had to return back, after that i got engaged for a year while living with my mom who has canadian residency also, then got married for a year and now im filing a divorce , before going to canada i used to live with my dad who had rp also, any chance my story will help to get me the travel document??? Does living with parent who holded valid rp would help?

Living with your parent is only relevant if you are 19 years or younger. Even if you were 19 or younger, it would only be relevant if your parent was a PR AND worked abroad for a Canadian company. So the fact that you lived with your dad outside Canada is irrelevant for the residency requirement, even if he also held/holds PR.

The only thing that might (might!) work is that you apply under Humanitarian and Compassionate reasons. I'm not an expert on that but I don't think that "I got married outside Canada and then lived there with my husband/wife" is such a reason.

As mentioned, the excuse of living with parents outside of Canada is only relevant if you were a minor so had no choice in the matter.

Also I don't think your mom's sickness will be relevant either, since she was a PR and it was her personal choice to go back to home country when instead she could have remained in Canada to get treatment. This also does not cover the entire time you were outside of Canada.

Getting married is irrelevant. You could have traveled back to Canada and sponsored your wife for PR.

So you can certainly apply for a PR Travel Doc on H&C grounds, but really I think the most likely result is your PR status will be revoked.
Note also assuming your parents don't meet the residency obligation and are still outside Canada, their PRs would most likely be revoked as well if they try to apply for a PR TD.
