Is there any information available on the time its takes the New Delhi office to process an application for a Travel Document?
I had submitted mine on 11th June at VFS Chennai and have been told that it was received on 12th June by the High Commission in New Delhi. Since then the only update has been that the application is in process.
VFS cannot give me any more information and want me to direct queries to the High Commission. And the High Commission does not entertain requests via telephone even though they do not respond to any queries via e-mail. (Does replying to e-mail have its own processing time?)
I had assumed a month would be enough and have a return ticket to Canada for the 8th of July.
Is there any way to get the application processing expedited?
