Maybe OP lives in Canada and doesn't want the cost of another RT ticket?
Anyway, you should be able to ask the airline to provide additional assistance to them. Even if it's just requesting wheelchairs for them so that they can be assisted from check-in in Hyderabad up to retrieving baggage in Toronto. A good airline can do this.
