Hello,

In the documents to submit in support of an undertaking it says the following:

Translation
If you submit documents or parts of documents in a language other than French or English, you must provide:
• the document in its original language, in the required format (original, certified true copy or photocopy);
• the original of the complete translation done by a recognized translator. To learn the requirements for translations and the
definition of a recognized translator, consult our Web site at www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/document-requirements.
If the original document is written in French or English but includes a seal or a signature in another language, you must
have them translated.

My husband's passport is in English and Spanish, do I need to get it translated?

No, since they can read English.

I know it's pretty late but still, thanks for the response. :p
I know they can read English but for an unknown reason I had the impression that they would only accept the SA letter in English and the rest had to be in French.

When sending documents to the Canadian government (weather it is Quebec or others), they can always be submitted in either English or French
