Hi All,

I need to translate my rental agreement for proof of me and my common law living together. The contract is about 5-6 pages. Would the first and last page be enough, since it has all the necessary information, or do you think the WHOLE thing would need to get translated?

Thanks,

Can you get your landlord to write one formal letter like " you and your partner has been renting at xxx (address ) since 20xx. etc"

don't think it will be more than a page then you can translate and notarize it.

otherwise you should do all pages.

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a similar situation. My rental agreement has all the important information in the first paragraph of the first page (1/3 of a page) as well as our signatures at the bottom of the last page. The rest of the pages contain housing rules and so on.
Do you think it would be enough to just translate the important part?

Best regards

same thing, ask your landlord to write a simple letter of your rental history.

"you and your partner has been renting at xxx(address) since 20xx.xx.xx to present .."

you need your landlord signature, don't think you and your partner's signatures are really necessary.

p.s if you rent from property management company, you can get it for about $15-20.
they would have formal form.
