transit visa processing time in US

Hi,

I applied a transit visa last week, and I'm going to transit through Canada on Christmas. I was so misled by the "online application" and did not apply the transit visa in advance.
Any chance a transit visa can be confirmed quicker than the visor visa ? It stated 20 days processing time for visitor visa when I applied, and now it is 21 days.

Yes, transit visas take less than TRV.
