I need your advice.
I'm Vietnamese passport holder and now I'm living in U.S under E2 visa.
My family booked for cruise that will travel from Alaska to Vancouver and the journey start on Jun 29.
I know I need transit visa when I have to wait at Vancouver for about 10 hours before flight.
So I applied for transit visa online on Mar 22.
They opened my application on Mar 23 ( as I got email and checked status).
But 45 days since I applied, there's no update for my application, no passport request.
I read some topics about TRV here and I'm getting nervous now because I have to go to Japan from May 21 to Jun 3 , so I will not be able to submit my passport this month even though they request me now ( Because I'm not sure if they would send passport back to me before my flight to Japan ) .
Some people on this forum got their passport back after over 3 weeks they sent them . And I'm worry if I send on Jun 4 ( after come back from Japan), would they send me back before my journey to Alaska start.
As you know, there's no way to contact and ask about application status. Wait and wait makes me so stress right now.
Could somebody give me advice ?
