Hello!
Im a Russian citizen. Temporary resident of Mexico. Applied for a visitor visa here a month ago and my application was refused based on paragraph 179(b). This forum explained to me later what kind of mistakes I had when applied.
Im planning a trip back to Moscow and I would like to take flight through Toronto at least for 48 hours to complete some of the plans I had , when I was planning to go there a month ago.
In my previous application I did not meansion any of my plans, I had an Invitation from my boyfriend( Canadian citizen) . just saying that I will be staying at his house.

So the question is..
Do I need to explain my motives in a letter? Or will it make it worse?
Since the actual reason of getting that ticket is a very short, but still VISIT. Not a transit.

Please help me doing this correctly, so I don't make any mistakes this time.

Thank you

As you intend to leave the airport + you are, in fact, visiting Canada even if it is less than 48 hours.... you must reapply for a TRV, not for a Transit Visa.

You would need to address the previous refusal reasons

I thought it would make it even worse. Apparently I was right.

Thank you
