Hello,

My PGWP is in process (outland - India) and study permit as well as trv have expired. I had tweeted to Ircc asking if I can move my application from India to USA; they said, let us know about the change of address through a web form.

Has anyone done this? Transfer an application?

I am not talking about re-applying (I cannot coz permit expired and I am currently working)!

Please let me know.

Do you live in the States?

Nope, but I am planning to visit family and stay with them for a while. My idea is to process my application in the USA and fly to Canada. My office also would like to send my equipment to the US because it would be closer.

Don't think they would or could do that. Your file is usually processed where you are currently residing. Give it a shot and see what they say.

They’ll just update your address from India to States but not transfering file,

Hi Arun, I am also in similar situation. By mistake I selected India as my current country and the case is processing in india while I am still in Canada. I raised couple of webforms but they said it will be processed in India but I can get it stamped in canada
