So I just received my hubby's foss notes and it reads:

AFL 0001 R File transferred from registry 9518 03May2011
EA 002 File transferred from registry 9518 03May2011

What does file transferred from registry means? A friend told me not to panic as it is only a note an IO makes when they look at your profile. I believe her, just want to double check.

Can somebody help? Can somebody translate what it means? Thanks a lot!

anybody has any idea?

That means it's most likely the date they pulled your file from the registry to print your FOSS notes. When I got my FOSS it said the same thing and I calculated that it was about the same date they got my request.

That is true.
The first line I had that said that was the day they took it out for FOSS notes but could just be a coincidence.
The second line was when they attached my FBI clearance. And the third was when they wanted to request RCMP checks.

Thank you Suenim and LoveYoung!

Have a great weekend, happy Victoria Day!

I'm sorry, but what is FOSS? Is it the new CAIPS notes?

FOSS is the notes for Inland applicants.
CAIPS is the notes for Outland applicants.

The codes on them differ a bit but they serve the same purpose as CAIPS notes.
