Hello All,

Is this possible that your file never transfer to local office and visa is issued direclty from Buffalo? So lets say you live in Seattle, you applied as FSW, after asking all required documents from Buffallo, your visa is issued directly from Buffalo office instead of first transfering to local consulate in your area and then issueing you the visa? Is this possible?

Yes, it actually happens in the majority of cases.

Thanks for your reply, why would they transfer the files of some applicants? Is it because of transferring the workload?
