Transfer or New Work permit processing while on Work permit in Canada.

Hello, I am in Canada on Work permit from last 1 yr. My Work permit was an ICT as I worked for that company for a long time in India. Now, there is another employer who is interested in offering me a job and ready to process a new work permit.
My questions are
1. Can I stay in Canada and work for old employer untill the new workpermit gets approved?
2. Do I need to go out of country and visit again with New work permit?
3. Do I need to get stamped my visa again?
4. Does the new company has to do an LMO?
5. How much time does it take to get an LMO approved normally?

1. Yes, for as long as your WP with the "old" employer is valid.
2. No, you can change employers (change conditions of your stay) thru CPC-Vegreville.
3. Only if you are exiting Canada and your TRV is expired or not multiple entry.

5. Your guess is as good as mine. It is taking Service Canada ages to process LMOs. Some say 12 weeks others longer.
