I am currently attending a Post Secondary Institution in Canada as an International student. However, I am willing to change institution for the next fall intake in September 2020 and for so I might withdraw the winter term in my current institution and go back to my country and come back for the fall intake in the new institution. For this reason, I am mailing you to clarify if this would affect my Visa and study permit status if I withdraw from my current institution, go back to my country and come back for the new academic year.

I am also willing to know if I can change program into another Designated institution?

Have you been accepted to the new university or program? If you have been accepted you can change your school and program online and return home and then return next August or September with the same study permit and bring your new admission letter for extra information. If you leave before receiving admission to your new program your current school should report you as a no show and your student permit should get cancelled and you’d have to apply for a new one.

Thank you for your response.
Is it also applicable for my Visa?
And on the website I saw that you may change program in your actual institution but I did not see anything saying that you can change school and program as well.
