We have been asked to deposit money by province and sign a deposit agreement basis which they will forward our application.
However our bank - Citibank is saying that we need rbi clearance to transfer as this is a “deposit” and not a simple transfer.
Could someone pls advise if they are correct and how to go about it? Also, if someone has done this, then which bank have u used.
We don’t have much time left so are panicking.
