Transfer file to another consulate

I currently just had my papers submitted to the consulate in Buffalo, USA. I'm a national of India and if for some reason, you have to move back to India and leave the USA, is it possible to have your file transferred to the consulate in New Delhi and then just have it amended with the correct new address? Or do you have to start a fresh application there?

No, they won't transfer it and you can't just send another application to Delhi. You would have to withdraw the application from Buffalo and then start by re-applying to Sydney.
