i have a question regarding transcripts
since Transcripts are nothing but marksheet of each semester,to be sent in a sealed envelope by the respective Univ.but since i already have marksheet of each semester(original),and will be sending them (photocopy) of the same.is this enough??
1)should the spouse also get it done??

2)regarding PCC ,since i will have to submitt within april all docs to delhi,but i would be getting the pcc in jan itself,so it will valid only for 3 months i.e till april,but till tht i would have sent it to delhi.so is it ok if it expires after it reaches delhi???

Send transcripts in University sealed envelop if it is asked in the Visa Office Specific Instructions for your local CHC. Because photocopies sent by you and transcripts in university seal envelop are different.

Yes send transcripts in university sealed envelop for you and your spouse

PCC is valid for 3 months, and it should be valid at the time of your sending the application/reaching the Visa Office.

The sealed transcripts must originate from and bear the seal of the educational institution which originally issued the transcripts. If the college, affiliated with the university, is the original issuer of the transcripts, you may submit the transcripts sealed by the college. If not, then you must obtain sealed transcripts from the university.

Universities in India are familiar with our requirements and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts.

In this case you got a problem

What you can do is get the translation of your original transcripts and send the notarized copies of the original script along with translation and affidavit from translator.

But As I replied to zeba above CHC says they may still ask for the transcripts in sealed envolope from University.

Is it not possible to get the transcripts in sealed envolope even by visiting personally to university and getting things done the eway they get done in India

I think I have to submit notarized translations. I checked with my lawyer and he suggested the same.

In this case you got a problem

What you can do is get the translation of your original transcripts and send the notarized copies of the original script along with translation and affidavit from translator.

Send Original Transcripts in a sealed envelope from University and also along send translation. Apply for two separate copies of transcripts. Might cost you more but it will be safe.
