Transcripts vs Degree/Certificates

Hi All,

Thank you for this wonderful forum.
I am having a very silly question. Everyone here are talking about transcripts to be sent by the University to the ECA Authorities and not the Degree/Certificate.

Kindly, can anyone, let me know what are the transcripts and what all procedure is to be followed for ECA to be done smoothly.

Transcripts are mark sheets. You will have to send both transcripts and a copy of your degree certificate.

As for the procedure, if you're going with WES they have all the information you need on their website.

Thank you for your quick reply.
But the transcripts and Degree Copies are to be sent from the University itself? Or can I send the same too?
Moreover, do I need to open an Account with WES first and then proceed to the University for formalities?

Just go through that link. The instructions for different countries may differ, but everything is mentioned clearly.
You can send a copy of your degree certificate (not the original) yourself.

As for the transcripts, you will have two options. One is to have your university send it to you in a sealed and stamped envelope, and then you forward that to WES without breaking the seal (so don't open it). Option 2 is to have the University send the sealed envelope to WES directly (the best option).

If you studied in India, you can only go with the second option for your mark sheets.
