Hi,

Its not necessary but some consultant recommend it but its definetly not necessary to get sealed. No where in CIC has written this that transcripts need to be sealed or any other documents.

The guide (the ones that I have seen + based on what I've heard from all consultants) clearly asks for university transcripts to be in sealed university envelopes.
Though still some applicants submit their notarized transcripts (without being in university sealed envelopes) and it has been accepted.

I see form your timeline that your visa office is London, that is what it says in the document checklist for london visa office:

"6. EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

For you and your spouse or common-law partner:

•Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas;

•College or university documents: certification of completion and the graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and the evaluation committee;

•Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.

•Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)"

Hi:
I have a problem here.....my University (Bachelor degree) is in Syria- Damascus...and there..at the time og graduation they give us the original transcript and the original certificate,and write at the bottom of every one that(we give this for one time only,if you need copies of them,you go to copy them and come back to your college to give u a stamp on them)....
When I translated them to English.....the translator wrote that in English...

Yes, there will be no problem as long as it is the regulations of your university, written on the transcript, and you get it translated by a certified translator.

Hi, You can also send notarised copy of your transcripts.

if you send transcripts in university sealed envelope your case might be speedy as CIC then does not have verify authenticity of your degree...
