Hi Josie!

Ya my friends from Ireland recently got their passport requests and they only required copies because apparently Ireland is also a visa exempt country. I am going to wait for the request before sending anything as I dont want them to get confused!

Thanks Lydia, that's a relief. I dont want to be without my passport for what looks like at least a month. I am also hoping to do some travelling during the summer and will need it. No PPR yet so wont be sending yet but hoping soon. Fingers crossed for all of us!

Yes, our timelines are pretty much the exact. I am a Newfoundland PNP, which province did you apply through? I contacted my local MP recently who said he looked into my immigration file and they told him I have passed medical, criminality etc and that I am in 'the final stages of the process' but cannot provide an exact timeframe on when I will receive my PR. I am not sure I believe them though, I will believe it when I see the PPR! Hoping its not too much longer!

My application was received on March 8, 2012. The process actually takes 16 months, I am looking at July 2013.

Hi Everyone

Let me start to say this is a awsome forum i see going on here and let us keep each other in our prayers. My wife got nominated for Permanent residency in march 2012. We got our medical done on May 2012 and submitted all other requested document on April 2013and also pay the rights for permanent Residency on April 2013.

Today we got a email saying that we should redo medical as our previous medical has expire which accord to our knowledge it doesnt expire until May 14, 2013. We are here confuse as crazy because we wasnt looking for a email such as this, we were hoping that now they would be requesting our passport. However this is the email that we recieve.

My question is has anyone has the same experience? An how long after submitting this new medical the will request your passport.

Really need urgent responses. thanks

Thanks for letting us know about that turn of the things. I was asked to do the medical on May 12, 2012, did it on June 12, 2012 and received a RPRF payment request on April 30, 2013. Now I will be expecting a request for another medical, I guess.
