Wow, i cant expect CIC to be that fast. I paid my RPRF on April 23 and still waiting !!!!

I got my RPRF on Friday May 31 along with my Passport request! Here is the whole thing:

We received your application for permanent residence on October 23, 2012.
We started processing your application on Friday April 9, 2013.
Medical results have been received. (It was delivered in Jan 15 if I am correct)
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
RPRF and PPR on May 31, 2013
Passport sent on June 3,2013

I have applied under Ontario-PNP master stream and I had job offer (I am working), though it is not necessary for this category.

At the beginning of March 2013, they asked me for my police certificate from my country which caused around one month delay until its status was changed to "in process". So make sure to send a complete application to save time for yourself.

I paid the RPRF online on Friday May 31 and emailed the receipt at the same day and sent my passport on Monday June 3.

Can anyone tell me how long it will take me to get a PR card? I should make a plan for a trip.

Thank you very much for the update. Could you please let me know if your application was under process when they asked for PCC? OR after submitting your PCC, the status changed to in process? If yes, How long did your status take to be changed? Additionally when did you send the PCC?

whoever got COPR. can you tell me how big/heavy the letter is? is it a normal envelope?

I still didn't receive it, it's still somewhere on its way and I go on vacation tomorrow. I just want to know so that I can buy a prepaid envelope that my friend can send it to me. so I can land when i come back.

Congrats Did you status change to 'Decision Made' on May 31st too or before that?

Thank you...No my application was not under the process before they received my PCC. However once they got it, its status changed to “In Process”. As far as I remember, my PCC was delivered to them in April 6, or 7 and in April 9 its status got changed to “In Process”. So it should took them around a couple of day to update my status. From my understanding, once your application is complete including the medical result, it gets a “In Process” status.

Hi Kia,

Honestly, I didn't check my status regularly, but check my email to see if I got any news from them. CIC website asks lots of question to show the status, and I am lazier than that

Thank you...No my application was not under the process before they received my PCC. However once they got it, its status changed to “In Process”. As far as I remember, my PCC was delivered to them in May 6, or 7 and in May 9 its status got changed to “In Process”. So it should took them around a couple of day to update my status. From my understanding, once your application is complete including the medical result, it gets a “In Process” status.

Thank you for the information. I hope you will get your PR card soon. My case is like as yours. I sent my PCC right away, but my status has not been changed so far to in process, although medical results have been received. I dont know if they lost it or not. You said your PCC received on May or April??

Hey Philfresh,

He submitted only 1 PCC which was for his home country with the normal PCC from local canadian city police.
