I got med request on Nov 14 2013.I booked an appointment with doctor for Mon Jan 21 2013. Wish everybody best of luck. My visa office not stated but I hope it is ACCRA Ghana.

@Divine Favour - I am guessing you are applying within Canada. If yes, why the preference for Accra VO? Please share as I have chosen CHC London but considering writing CIC to choose Accra.

Can anybody please tell me how much the whole medical exam costs in Canada. I have my health card but still i have heard that they charge $200-400 for things that are not covered under health card.

I don't think your health card covers this medical examination expenses. For me it's $475 per adult and $200 for kid.

Hey Sarayu, I've just checked my E-cas on CIC, It has been updated to "We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2012." Don't know why It said Nov 16, 2012 even though CIO received my application on Nov 21, 2012

Your should be updated as well

I'm from Saskatoon,Saskatchewan and got my nomination number already.

That is for you to decide that which visa office do you want to process your file. You can select any visa office which you think is suitable for you. If you are in canada then you must go for CPP Ottawa.

No, our health card doesn't cover the medical exam fees.
For me it costs around $195. I wonder why there is such a big discrepancy...

Congrats buddy !!!!!!!!!! I think its time to cover up the time you lost before, newayz where are you gonna give your Medicals ? I am soon going to india so i was wondering if its wise enough to give my medicals there because that will be much cheaper and easier. what you suggest ?
