Wait for more replies from seniors.......
I am also from Spain and I sent my PNP application pack to CIO Nova Scotia on 25 Nov and they received on 29 Nov,2013. I am still waiting for reply from CIC (i.e AOR+Medical request).
Have you gone through medical exam? Where you did? what is the cost of Medical exam in Spain?

I am making my medical in a week, but I am living in Calgary. It costs around 200$ (Xray + blood and urine). I am currently living in Calgary, Alberta, so I am doinf it here.

Hello everyone.

I am new in this Forum and I have some doubts regarding the Permanent Resident through the PNP, in my case through AINP. I am sure someone already asked this, but 350 pages is too much to read....

I have a question about the VISA office. In the application I wrote Sydney as the VISA OFFICE, but I guess I should have putted France, as I am from Spain. Do they automatically send the application to them?

They have sent me the confirmation message that everything is OK and that they will forward the applciation to the VISA Office and also requested me the medical exam.

From this point, how long usually takes to get the PR.

Hi sousea, cheer up. i think there's no need to worry about VO as CIO Sydney Nova Scotia will send your application to the relevant VO. secondly, i think your VO cannot be Paris. VO is usually based on country of residence rather than country of origin. Although you are from Spain but are residing in Calgary, Canada.

just to let you all know we recieved our PPR and now getting ready to landing! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

our timeline (at Tel Aviv VO) was such:
22 november 2012 - file recieved at Nova Scotia
7 March 2013 - file recieved at local VO
22 December 2013 - a letter asking for medicals, RPRF and extra document.
29 Secember 2013 - medicals done
7 January 2014 - blood in urine and requirments for extra medicals
14 January medicals recieved status
20 January - request for passports
28 January - passports ready with PPR

Well, in short terms, it is really easy but the first officer was not very polite, however, the guys from the SIN number and newcomer's stand were awesomely helpful! when you get to inmigration, you have to say that you are there to complete your landing and they will forward you to the main office where is everyone doing the same thing as you. after you get attended by the CIC officer (about 15 mins) you have to apply for the SIN number in that same office, and they are really helpful and polite.... you just need to provide your address in Canada, a phone number, your parent's names (mother last name before marriage) and stuff like that and you are all set.

PS My ecas is now updated to COMPLETED and the details states the date of my entry and that I now became PERMANENT RESIDENT! WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

yes, this past months was very intensive - in only one month we did our medicals, gave our passports and got them back. after 9 months of waiting for the VO, it was amazingly quick!
hopefully we will do our landing in early summer.

I really don't know how long it takes, my medical was expired and told me they extend it, and I will have my 16th month this march..So frustrating..
