Tracking PNP November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

Hi Every one,
Can any one update me how long it takes to get Passport request after you submit your file for federal immigration. When i log in to their website and check status, it says FILE ACCEPTED IN MAY 2013, IN Process.
Please share your experience. As i am new on this blog.

Do you know why it took so long after your file went in-process on 8th May? Were you asked for any additional documents in between?

Don't know why. They didn't send me any kind of email since the request for medical. We paid our RPRF so they never requested it either. My only guess is that the officer who was assigned to my case went on a strike and no one took over it until now!

We got PPR today...to be sent to them within 60 days. We're going on a trip within two weeks so we will be sending our passports a month from now.

I got an email from CPP ottawa that my "file has been transferred to Case Processing Pilot for further review".
Email also asks for FBI clearance certificate, updated details of personal history since dec2012 (I am Dec2012 applicant) and Police certificates.
FBI letter and personal history can be scanned and sent via email but they need original copy of police certificate by post.

I have submitted FBI cert and police cert last dec'2012 with rest of the application. I am not sure, but do I need to get new copies of both?
They have given me 3months to provide the docs.

If anyone else has received similar email plz let me know. Also expecting some comments from gurus!!!

Hi hiddenBrain,

Since you have submitted your application back in Dec 2012 which is about 10-11 months now and that's why they are asking for your updated personal history. Coming to your PCC, usually the PCCs are valid for only one year. I believe the one which you submitted along with your application got already expired. So, you have to get updated PCC now and send them the original document (PCCs must be original, they will not accept either copies or scanned documents).

Looks like you are in USA now. It takes about 4 weeks generally to get an FBI certificate. So, just apply immediately without any delay. It's good that they provided you 3 months time for submission.

I have an update from my side. I can now see "Decision Made" line in my ECAS status. Looks like the very long wait is getting over very soon. Now wait starts to see my PPR.

It took exactly one month in my case to change status from "In-Process" to "Decision Made".
