My Ecas:
We received your application for permanent residence on June 7, 2012. ( showed in July before I got my AOR )
Medical results have been received. ( updated on Aug 24 )
We started processing your application on August 28, 2012. ( updated on Aug 30 )

Current Status @ Ecas: In Process ( updated on Aug 30 )

My medical was done on 20 July, and sent out from the medical office on 27July.

bkkk how much time it take CPP-ottawa to change your status from "Application received" to "in Process" after giving your medicals?

I gave my medicals on 15th august and my wife gave it on 16th yet my status is not changed. its still showing "application received"

I see it almost took 1 month to update ECAS after u gave medical. next week will more than 30 days for me since i give my medicals.


No upadate what so ever for today

Thanks, Hope you will get your AOR soon. For me it took 45 days to get AOR and Medical request.

Here is my timeline:


PNP certificate received: 20th/March/2012
Application received @ CIC: 1st/May/2012
AOR + Medical: 19/June/2012
Medical done: 21/June/2012
ECAS was updated with "Medical results have been received" around Aug 15th

Current Status @ Ecas:

"We received your application for permanent residence on May 1, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

I applied under strategic recrutiment category to reduce the FSW backlog for MPNP program at Nova Scotia and my file transferred to CPP-Ottawa Office.

My ecase status was "we received your application on xx-xx-xxxx, and now one more line is added "Medicals have been received"

Usually how much time it takes to get PPR after medicals have been recieved, and my case is still in process or some decision is made.

well according to MY analysis it takes 5-6 months after "Medical Received" Status is updated.

No updates since mid Aug when my ECAS was updated with "Medical results have been received"

I know someone from this forum had the ECAS updated to "In Process" 4 days after receiving the "Medical results have been received" message.

Regardless, I believe we will be getting it eventually, just need some patience. Good luck on your application

I am still waiting for "Medical results have been received" status ... you guys are ahead of league
