I received a reply by email today that my application is in process. They replied within one day as my ecas status was application received. It seemed like a generic response:

Dear Sir/Madam,
Your application is in process in Ottawa. No further action is required by you at this time.

The officer responsible for your file will contact you if any action is required from you. In the meantime, please ensure your contact information with us is up-to-date.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Finally got the passports with magic sticker. status still showing medicals received, I wonder why!!

I gave my medicals in the last week of may 2012 and still waiting for PPR. I knew few frens of mine who applied before me are also waiting. I just want to know on which date of the file they are working currently? I applied to Sydney, Novascotia.

Hey all experinced members,

I live in canada and applied through PEIPNP(prince edward Island PEI) as a International graduate category.
Timeline:
PEIPNP approved --- December 11.
Sydney CIO Receive application -- December 16, 2012.

Now, can anyone tell me what am i expecting here.
1. When do i hear from Sydney CIO next?
2. What do Sydney CIO does with the paperwork? Do they send it to Ottawa?
3. When can they ask me for medical?
4. What is the overall processing time i am looking here to get till my landing documents?

Last but not the list, i am working in PEI and can i relocate myself in a new province and stay and work for my same job that i do in PEI. Is there any legal issue on this.

I really appreciate all your effort guys.

HI shohag0001,

You have to wait for AOR from CIO, which you can expect within 60 days of your file submission. Since you have submitted application on 16th Dec, I believe you have to wait till Jan 13 end for AOR

Thanks. I received by MAIL, and document was dated 40 days ago.
That's how long it took to get to Canada from New Delhi visa office!
