Hi, I have a friend that is trying to apply for his open work permit now, application for TR to PR submitted May 6. work permit will expire in December and now he is in the process to submit application for open work permit. He is unsure if his kids have to fill out the same extension form.

If expiring, then yes for kids a well.

Hi guys, i am on an implied status because i applied for TR to PR and OWP.

My sister is my employer we didn't renew or extend my contract because we thought that my OWP will arrive after my WP expires but unfortunately it will take longer to process.

My question is for those who have the same situation as me.

For my sister does she need to pay the taxes for me or not?

Thanks in advance.

Hi y’all!

I’m currently working in canada under a Working Holiday Visa and I have sent my application for TR to PR under the french speaking essential (non-healthcare) workers (outside of Quebec). My worry is that I still haven’t had any answer and my visa expires at the end of January. If I don’t get an answer by then, will I be disqualified when I go back to France?

Thank you!

You won't be disqualified from TR to PR if you leave the country. You have to come back before you're asked to 'land'. You have to land inside Canada.
