Hello Friends,

Here is my situation:

I have already applied for PR under tr to pr healthcare stream on October 8th.I have PGWP but My spouse work permit is going to expire on 30th November. As I am psw it belongs to NOC C. For extending my wifes work permit as a main applicant I should have NOC O,A Or B category job.

Now my queries are as below:

1) Can I leave my psw job and get NOC B job so I can extend my spouse work permit and still I will be eligible for getting PR?
2) Is there any other way to extend my spouse work permit?

If someone having the same situation or know something better could help me please.

Thank you.

Yes you can switch jobs as long as you have the one year in healthcare. You and your spouse may qualify for OWP if you meet the requirements. When does your PGWP expire? Without a valid WP your wife will stop receiving government payments.
