hi all,
I want to know if i want to apply Canadian tourist visa should i need invitation letter?
Hello, Fatima Minhaj! If you will be staying with a relative then it is much better to ask for an invitation letter. But if you will be staying in hotels then no need for the invitation letter :)

But then u need to show sufficient funds for expenditure during Ur stay for hotel, travel and sightseeing. It's better to get invitation letter from someone for positive end result

My mother is US Green Card Holder. She already visited Canada from USA couple of time. But now, I want to apply for her multiple entry visa by which she can stay more than 6 month at a time with us. I am currently applying for PR with my family. While I am applying for her through online for visit visa it shows that she is eligible for Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). What should I do now?

A multiple entry visa does not allow someone to stay more than six months at a time. You're thinking of a super visa. You cannot apply for a super visa until after you have become a PR and have secured a job in Canada that meets the minimum income requirements.

For now she should continue to visit Canada using her green card.

Ok, if she uses green card to visit can she stay more than 6 months at a time? Again, can she visit from Bangladesh to Canada since she is Bangladeshi citizen with a valid eTA?

She will need to apply to extend her stay from within Canada. Whether she will be allowed to stay longer will be up to CIC.

Normally how long she can stay with her eTA? Will it be a problem if she go from Bangladesh?

Again, can she extend her stay through online application from where she is applying for eTA?

Normally she will be allowed into Canada for six months. However that decision is up to the CBSA officer and it's always possible the officer could giver her a shorter stay.
