Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
My Husband submitted the PR visa for me in December and I'm planning to visit him for few months through Tourist Visa.
Can someone please tell me
1. if I apply for Tourist Visa, will it impact the PR visa? ie will the PR visa process slow down since I'm going to Canada as a tourist?
2. Does the tourist visa have any connection to PR visa?
3. If my tourist visa gets rejected by any chance, how soon can i reapply? and will the rejection impact the PR Visa?

1. No and no. TRV app has zero effect on an ongoing PR app.
2. No
3. You can re-apply immediately, but if you don't fix the reason it was initially rejected, it would most likely just be rejected again. And no, a TRV rejection has zero effect on PR app.

thank you so much!
Would it be advisable to apply the TRV after we receive the File ID or before that?

are you referring to UCI? on my case, I applied for TRV while PR application is in process. I did not provide UCI on my TRV application form and I did not encounter any problem or delays from it. My TRV got approved (after few days and was able to visit Canada first) and PR visa as well, after few months.

Sorry for the confusion, i meant the sponsorship approval.. is it advisable to apply after the sponsorship approval or before the approval?

I really don't think it makes a difference.
