Hi, I just want to ask about our situation. Me and my sister are planning to invite my grandmother in Canada as a tourist however she cannot travel alone and needs someone to accompany her.My sister will be inviting them in the letter but her annual income is only $30, 000.She is single and doesnt have any child. Is it possible for the immigration to approved our invitation with the accompanying person and my grandma. Can I state in the letter that I will be helping in providing their financial nends. Thank you so much.

I suggest you spend some time on the forum to understand what is required of you to make a successful application for your grandmother.

Your grandmother can be eligible to come on a TRV or a Super Visa. There are different requirements for both.

For a TRV, your sister's income is irrelevant. The visa office needs to know that your grandmother will not overstay - which has to be proven by strong ties to her country of residence, and sufficient finances to fund her travel and stay.

You can start by checking the eligibility from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp
