totally confused !!!! please help me!! regarding pgdm course

hi guys
i want to do PGD in marketing from colleges located in ontario like sheridan,senneca,humber etc
i am unable to decide because some are saying PGDM from canada is not valid all over the world,it doesn't have any value....etc
some say it is good in terms of getting job you would have more practical exp

i am btech passed out 2015(mech) 67%,no backlogs
have a part time exp in marketing for 3 years

i know i may not be qualified to do MBA in unvi as requirements are high and high fee
so i want to plan my career over there

can any expert please suggest me ur exp or any suggestions about choosing PGDM is it good or bad?

what about job offers,few say now Canada is in recession!!!!!!!???

return of investment how many years will it take ?

and which college is better for marketing in Ontario or BC??

finally better to do MBA from a B grade college in INDIA????

hey there

before i say anything .. the choice is yours.

every place has pros and cons.

getting in a university in canada for an indian student is comparteivly tougher than getting in a university in US as you need really good scores and have to apply way before .

any how doing a PGD from canada will give you a two year work permit after you finish your PGD and you can then enroll in masters if you like or even apply for PR which is a easy route for a student to get a PR and its very few countries offering that.

PGD in canda has a value the only difference between a PGD and Masters is PGD will not have a dessertation (project work).

if i were you and if i had a chance i would opt canada instead of doing MBA from a B school in india.

and humber is a good college so is sheredian.

1) Pgdm cannot be compared to Masters or even a Bachelors degree in Canada.But it is a much better option than doing a MBA from a b grade college in India.
2)Canada is not in a Recession but on the verge of it.Canada's youth unemployment rate and overall jobless rate is high since last 3 years.On top of that canada economy hugely relies on crudeoil which is trading at a very low price and plus the global economic slowdown.But on ground the situation is pretty worse for manufacturing sector as they all are slowly moving far east, jobs in the service sector have also been hit but not that worse as other sectors.
