total confused Help ????

few days back i applied for Humber college 2 years Post secondary diploma in Network Support technician

but unfortunately i am not able to get the offer as it says You are on Wait list .So now My consultant Says

Take any other Diploma like electronics system You will get the Visa and then once you Reach there You can

get Your Course change there from electronics to network support....so i want to know is it possible and

how many days does it take and is there is any charge for changing the course in the same college or not

yo may change from one course to other but you need to get accepted first and time depends from college to college. If you register in one course and also attend some classes and after change to other than you will be charged for both unless you withdraw before withdrawal period.

Even i ask some of my friends who r in humber they said yes you can change the course soo i would like yo

know howcome when the seats right rite now shows waitlist fter reaching canada how come i can change

too tht waitlist course even when it will not have any seats .

If you do not have seats you can't change course simple. But if you have a spot in other course and apply and afterwards get visa with that course. After reaching Canada you can change the course if you are selected from wait list.

once i reach canada i can change it too network support technicain(the course which i want) course right thts what u r trying to say

But what i am asking is as in network support course right now it shows waitlist howcome pnce i reach

canada it will allow me to change in to at that point of time from where will the seats will come any speacial

quota aur something ??

Seat is totally depending on availability. so if you do not have now then you have to go for next session. If seat is not available then you cant change course no matter what.

So As of now in network support it shows waitlist so if i go there with some other course like electronics

engineering and if thee status in network support still shows waitlist once i reach canada then i wont be able

to change the course huh?

MY Consultant told me over there are domestic stundents seats are also avalable which generally in never

filled up soo those seats are available and you can change it

and then over there the seats reserved for domestic students in the course which i wanted is not fulfilled

there r no seats reserved ......it all depends on ur profile ......they can make exceptions if ur profile is good.....changing a course requires a fresh application which goes through the same process of selection . if they accept u then u can change ..getting admission to one course does not mean u get admission to any course in that university.

just to clarify u can change course only if u already have been admitted to that course. so if u apply to electronics and netwroking both courses now and get accepted then u can go for electronics and later change to networking. if u have admit to only electronics now then once u go there u have to make fresh application for networking and after they accept u can change course. there r two parts to ur question
1) can u change courses legally in terms of visa and notifying immigration: ans is yes u can
2) can u change course in the university/college: yes only if u have admition to that course
