Toronto/GTA 2015 applicants

Hi Guys,

I finally was able to find out more about my application today when calling the call centre. It seems spring has cheered them up!

I asked where it was if it has left Sydney etc. He told me it is still in Sydney doing clearances then it will move to Mississauga and if they needed anything they will contact me.

That is my latest update!

Does anyone know what kind of clearances are done at which offices?? Its interesting to know!

What number are you calling? Is it usually a long wait time?

Well folks moving to second week of May things are still slow checking on Jan so far :

3 Mississauga applicants moved to Transferred to Local Office

1 Scarborough applicants moved to Transferred to Local Office

4 Toronto applicants moved to Transferred to Local Office

3 Toronto Applicants Moved to In Process

It is still slow moving but that spreadsheet gives me some hope that in the next two weeks or so the remaining for Jan will move and Feb hopefully will start.

Nothing new I am afraid I did see a few GTA applicants from the Jan batch finally went to 'In process' I am at 77 days with no news not much one can do just go with the flow, hopefully soon.

Hello Folks;

I have a few questions maybe can be answered, also new to this forum. Here we go...

1. I sent my application for citizenship to Nova Scotian on May 29th, 2015. I noticed takes approximately 20-30 days to receive a letter. However the questions is how long will entire process will take from start to finish. I read online CIC website takes 12 to 24 months. I appreciate insight on this and what are the steps of notifications from CIC. By the way i reside in Toronto. I appreciate any feedbacks!!!
