Am I too late to apply for skilled worker? I wish to apply under NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants. i have just finished most of the forms, still need to do English test.

With the frozen CAP update I am not so sure. It would have been easy to estimate your degree of CAP success if the CIC Update is regular.

Can you send me a link of where it states the frozen cap?

When looking at the NOC list, it says that NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants has 348 applications. From my understanding, for it to be capped it needs to reach 1000.

My Application arrived in Oct 15. My NOC is also 2171.
I think I will be borderline. Last CIC update was 348, but this is for apps received by mid June.
So July, August, Sept and mid Oct apps are in the queue, (sitting in a shelve waiting to be checked)
According to the FSW Spreadsheet, Apps received by October will be checked for completeness in Dic to Jan 2015.

When are you planning to apply?

I would say apply soon as possible. Don't waste a single hour.

There is nothing late. Do apply, worse will be you will get your money back.
