Too late in responding to my visa application

Hello Everyone, I have applied for a student visa 4 months ago and I haven't get any response yet and my university program will start next month. I was just wondering if there is people in the same situation as me, if yes what did you do or what you planing to do. Thanks,

I applied 6 months ago, there's some people here who've applied 5 months ago. On CIC news there’s a recent article talking about 1.8mil applications in backlog

Yep. I applied in June and still waiting for a decision.. My uni is giving me an option to defer to Sep 22 intake but I might just withdraw if I don't get a decision by the end of December

Me waiting since 5th july.. .. BVL received on 17th September..no updates after that..deferred to September 2022.
