Todays CAP update for every FSW

so the cap has closed??

I have only just started the process about 6 weeks ago with global visas who told me I would have no problem meeting this years visa cap. I started to upload my documents and had everything done except the IELTS which is booked in 3 weeks. my case manager then told me that i would not meet the cap as I didnt have my IELTS... I found this quite strange as I ws told when I paid my initial £300 that I would be ear marked a visa and that the system would be updated and I would definatley get it this year. Apparently this was not the case when my case worker told me there was no such thing as reserving a visa and that was that.
Can anyone tell me if a visa is reserved at consultation or has she just taken my money knowing I had no chance of getting into this years cap??

You really think that a consultant can reserve an Immigration visa for you? So you really paid £300 for nothing then.
 
unfortunately he tried to scam you or something. I wouldn't let it pass by like that. In the worst case, demand that he does it next year without extra payment
 
Hi I have left the visa company as they are scammers. I have only lost £300 it could have been £1800!!!

I have gone with a different company now and they are going to submit for the next cap opening... so fingers crossed all should be straight forward

Example: - For Example one's application reached 5 September, his application may be processed for completeness in 7 to 15 days, and his application may be counted in 20th September's announced number of applications received.

Well on average CIC is receiving 200 applications/week which is not bad. I hope they should be able to handle the new applications efficiently.
