Why (how) your marriage can affect getting visa opportunity?

Whether its Work visa or student visa, visas are issued to married & unmarried person.

Only question I can think is about funds. For example, for PR funds are required as per no. of persons migrating to Canada.
But I don't think such condition is for Work/Student visa.

Hope you can make up your mind if you want to get married or later. ;)

Not only fund will matter, she/he have to arrange another applicants PCC's everything whatever neccessory documents for PR. it take time but she can marry if they get it within some short time of period , whats your status of application , means PR applied or not? please share your info.then you will get exact idea. after some stage of PR it is not advisible to marry becasue it will delay your PR process, if its good for you to delay then marry with your partnet is ok, but you need funds , marriage certificate, PCC, medical's etc done even you have to inform CHC about your marriage.

First of all - this guy is asking about Work/Student visa, and not for PR application. So PR rules like funds might not be imposed, but as I mentioned in my earlier reply, he would need to confirm as I am not sure.

Second, even if it is for PR, PCC is not required to send with initial package, and can be send once eligibility is accepted by CIC. In fact if spouse is graduate, including spouse could help to get 4 or 5 points in adaptability section. Getting MC is not difficult. and since he has not initiated the application there is no question of delay. It might take 2 weeks to get MC & fill the form from PR point of view.
But again that guy is asking in context of Work/Student visa not PR.

My point is Work/Student visas are issued to married people. Now he need to explore himself if he is eligible for Work/Student visa or not.
