I applied for a PCC a few weeks ago. I stated the time period as: from (a certain date) to (date of application). Was this correct or should I have said, from (a certain date) till date. Where till date would be the date of issue.

Do you guys think that this is a minor issue, or should I call and ask if the "to date" can be changed to "till date"?

You need it to cover the full dates you have been in the country. So if you lived there 2004-2014 but you only asked for 2010-2014, it won't be accepted.

Do I have to make two separate PCC, if I had two addresses in last 10 year? In same Country?

Provided that I can't get a single PCC with both addresses mentioned.

PCCs typically do NOT mention an address, that would be restrictive and a possible reason for refusal on your application. Additionally, PCCs are meant for the entirety of your stay in a country (over single/multiple stays) and anywhere in that country. 1 country, 1 PCC.

I have lived in the UK and in India. My PCC from India and the UK do not mention any dates. The PCC from the UK has my name, photograph, address, date of birth and states that there is no live trace. The PCC from India just has my name, passport number and it states there is no record why I should not be able to migrate to Canada. There is a stamp on my passport too. Will this be accepted considering there are no dates?

UK ones don't have dates. It's not a problem.

Oh, and 'no live trace' indicates at some point you may have been cautioned by the police. It means they have SOMETHING on you on your record. You may need to submit an Access request to the UK police asking for them to provide everything they have on you.

Asivad, I am also currently in the same dilemma. My wife stayed in two cities in Pakistan. Should I make two PCCs for her? Thanks

I know for sure that I have no live or dead trace. I have never had any issues with the police and never committed crime. What do I need to ask ACRO to give me to support this?

Some members have reported that IRCC does accept multiple PCCs from Pakistan but I can't confirm that. Check the PCC requirements for Pakistan on IRCC site and proceed.

Yes, both will be accepted.

Nothing, you are good to go.

If you cannot get a single PCC for the entirety of your stay in your country, then the only option is to get the individual PCCs from respective authorities and explain in LOE. Check the CIC requirements with regard to PCC from your country.
