TN Visa - Do we have some wait period after getting Canadian Citizenship

I just received my Canadian Citizenship and wondering if there's a wait time after which I can apply for TN Visa.
I recently got laid off and my job search seems to be taking me to the US. I'm not planning on staying in the US long term and will be coming back to Canada weekly.
