Hi folks, any ideas on the best way to ask for time extension to submit requested docs? Thanks.

Same question. What's the best way to ask the time extension?
I applied under Quebec program. I got a request to forward a CSQ (Quebec certificate which replaces the general evaluation of financial capacity) before Nov 1st. I am running 1 or 2 weeks late...
Just call 1 888 242 21 00? Or reply to the email?

Yes, I successfully linked my application to GCKEY account and it shows medical passed.

Yes, I got an extension for a month. I was given only 20 days to submit all the document, medical and PCC. I already submitted everything else other than PCC.

I emailed the program Manager at the Local Visa office. I emailed few times about few different issues and they got back to me within couple of days and also contacted my mother to give instructions on certain things. I am happy with Colombo Visa Office.

Local visa office means in the home country of your parents? (not the Ottawa CPC)

My dad is on supervisa in Canada now, and went through the medical exam before he came with the supervisa. He also went to the TB Clinic for the surveillance undertaking and everything was fine it was only a few months ago. Now doing the medical exam again for the PRR, it's even more complicated than the supervisa medical exam, that made me a bit worried since he is a bit older (>70 now). I guess I can only wait for the PP to arrange for the specialist, and I'm sure it will take a long time....

My dad had TB 40 years ago and the scar is shown on his x-ray every time. My dad already explained to the doctor. The doctor suggested he should send x-ray files from the past years to prove that it's not active and just a scar. Luckily my dad was able to get x-ray files from 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2015 (regular checkups). He gave all of the files to the doctor and the doctor said he would send them all along with the medical exam results he got this time. My mom doesn't have any issue. I really hope the CIC doesn't ask for additional test for my dad. He's over 80 and he's already stressed out about this matter...

I also try to link the application to my account, for some reason, it just couldnt find it even though I'm sure all the information is correct. any idea?

They said me 8-9 weeks. (Application received September 1st).
Did you have to ask for an extension of time to forward CSQ to federal government?

I didn't receive medical or PCC request, so no need to ask of the extension as of yet.

Did you receive medical or PCC? I thought MIDI will send CSQ to CIC themselves...

Daniala, did you end up using your last resort to relink to your third working account yet or not? I did manage to get through to a relatively helpful agent at GCkey helpdesk today, who suggested this as a possible solution and she "thought" we would be able to get access to pre-existing messages too. If nothing improves till tomorrow, I'm going to try it myself, hoping not to screw things up any further.

I also faintly remember, once upon a time, reading (from @Rossie ?? ) in this thread (could be a few hundred pages back so hard to find now) that if an application is linked to a new account, it automatically gets unlinked from its previous account. So someone has definitely tried doing this, although for a different purpose as this error 500 wasn't an issue then.

@ndhillon did you finally try to relink to a new account login? Were your messages there?

PPC & medical and RPRF request 1st sept 2016
medical done 8th September ...mycic showed passed on 13 September
PCC and RPRF paid and subbmitted on 28 th September via email...
PCC due date was 45 days
medical were due in 30 days
hopefully PPR soon
