How do you guys check ECAS without AOR? i mean which id you use for case status? please advise.

If you are setup as a representative in your parent's application, you can login with your client ID to check status of your parents application.
If you are not a representative, your parents may contact call centre and get their client id and then they can check their status on e-cas

In my case, my parents have been here before in canada on visitor visa and they have their client id printed on their visa thus they can check their application status using their client ID.

If your parents have been here in canada before, they might have a client id and they can use that client id to check their application status.

I use my client ID number which you can find in your PR card or citizenship certi. If you have co sponsor, try with his/her info also.
In my case, it is showing under main sponsor but not under co sponsor.

Agree...even for me it is not showing under co sponsor.

You can login with your UCI and check ECAS status as long as it is activated.

Yes Representative is altogether different thing. If you are a sponsor you can check your sponsorship applications even if you are not Representative.

So Just have your UCI number and enter all the details required and you should be able to login.

Here is what happened:

Since past few days, my father used his client id and was able to see the status online. However when i used to login to e-cas using my client id, the sponsorship application did not to show up.

Then I assumed that I won't be able to see the sponsorship application online using my client id.

however, today, I logged in using my client id and I was able to see my parents sponsorship application.

Everyday is a new learning. Thanks

The exact same thing happened to me. Today I can see it in my ECAS and also my dad's nothing in my mom's though probably because she is listed as a dependent.

Alls good now it is just wait.

ECAS activated last week with status 'Application Received' but no AOR

They got my app 2nd hour of 4 Jan and I am among the first ones to get CC charged, if I am not mistaken. Still no ECAS when I login using my UCI and name, DOB, etc. Do I have enough reason to be worried about?

Be patient... Every Tuesday is when they update all UCI profiles. Don't waste your time checking every day ...

Yes! Friend of mine (he is from PGP 2014 batch) got an approval to sponsor his mother yesterday too!

Hold on, but why did this case go to Ottawa? I thought it should go to the local visa office once the first stage (sponsor approval) is completed. I would also want that my parents' case went to Ottawa instead of their local VO in Ukraine....

Does anybody know why the case would go to Ottawa instead of the local visa office? Maybe the person is here in Canada at that time? (on super visa or regular visitor visa?).
