I didn't see anyone from Edmonton using Fedex in 2015? Just wondering if someone did? How was the experience with time stamping?

Purolator seem to have 8:45am time of delivery but was actually delivered after 12 noon on 2nd Jan 2015 (misleading time of delivery).

Any suggestions for Edmonton applicants for 2016?
How do you know that it was misleading time of delivery?

QQ about Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)

Q1. If you are found ineligible to sponsor, indicate whether you want to:
a) withdraw your sponsorship application. All processing fees less $75 will be refunded
b) Proceed with the application for permanent residence. Processing fees will be retained. b

I am sponsoring my parents and not sure which option to select. I don't understand how the permanent residence application will proceed (point b above) if I am found ineligible to sponsor? which option have you guys selected?

sorry, if this is a silly question. any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

you should send the application now, in order for you to get in on Jan 04, since there will be some delays and it happened before

Is it possible to personally drop the application, for people living in GTA?
Or does it has to be via courier?
it has to be via a courier, and local courier is better, message me if you need more infor on local courier.

I checked out a few local courier companies in the GTA, here are my impressions:

VW Courier: These guys have a great website, separate section for the sponsorship program and home pickup service, but their prices are exorbitant, at $200+tax for 8 am delivery.

Metro Mississauga: They too have a separate section for the sponsorship program, however their website looks like it was designed by a 10 year old and their office location is in the middle of an industrial area full of auto repair shops. Prices are slightly above average around the $100 range, but I thought it was a bit shady.

AAA Courier: These guys have been in operation since 1969 and have a well designed website and seem the most professional out of the three. Their prices are also the most reasonable at $60 which includes 1 hr of wait time. Additional waiting us at $30 per hour. However they are not accepting any packages for delivery to CIC until Dec 31st, which also happens to be the last day their office is open until the 4th.

Hope the above will help out some posters who are having difficulty choosing a local courier. If you have come across any others, please share.
Thanks for your information, they are all good couriers. But I do know a local courier that works this long weekend and charge reasonable fee $60, and they will line up before cic open, plz send me a message and your telephone #, and I will let you know details.
