Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Rossei and all Forum members:

I am 2016 applicant got sponsorship approval on 22 june 2016.My file transferred to Ottawa.

I have two questions please suggest me what to do or keep waiting:-

1. My file became “In Process” on 26th of Aug.2016 but on 1st sept.2016 again turned to “Application Received” and still “application received”. Please guide me what to do?

2. As I had Medical in April 2016 at Toronto (which is for Super Visa Application) and now I have my PCC ready with me.
Please suggest me
i) can I upload my medical and PCC along with RPRF to VO Ottawa OR
ii) keep waiting till the request from Ottawa

and also Please let me know the uploading address of CIC Ottawa VO.

I would still wait for CPC-O to contact first.

Until LVO officially asks for docs, you cannot upload anything in MyCIC. So, you can either email or use Webform to upload docs. If you decide to send these to CPC-O in near future, these are the email addresses:

For Medical/PCC: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
For RPRF Receipt: CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca

Thanks! But how do they stamp the passport for visa extension if they don't request it ?

For TRV (Super Visa) Extension, if approved they send you a letter that it was granted and stated the validity of the extension
no need the passport.

Please help . I am waiting for mother PPR but her super visa is expiring next month so I am thinking of extending her stay. Questions :
1) For online application for extension, do I need to create CIC account for her OR can I use my own account to submit the documents ? Anyone?

Its safe to file an extention for ur mom ....i think if ur mom pr application is link to you..i think u can use yours

They'll mail you a piece of paper - referred as Visitor Record. It will show the extension period and terms and conditions. My mom carries this piece of paper along with her when we go to the US.
The terms and conditions show that re-entry is not allowed. But you can travel between Canada and US with visitor record with an expired visa - as long as the visitor record is valid.

I am glad to inform that my mother dadaum2 got passport with Immigration stamp valid upto May2017. My mother's PCC is valid uptoMay2017.So I guess they are issuing validity upto the date of expiry of PCC. Goodluck to all of us.Submited passport on september30 and received back on Sept07.

Review of Medical Results shows " Review in Progress" since the end of Septbember

but we haven't received a request for medical tests, we recieved the request for PCC only . Called CIC but an agent said he had no idea about it.

Visa Issue date is Octoober05.visa is issued along with COPR(confirmation of Permanent Residence)d

Yes, NDVO.
PCC, Medicals submitted on 19 August.
No updates after that.

Pls advise me: how long does it take the sponsorship status to change from in process to approved? I've been waiting almost two months!

a basic question. How do you do an upfront Medical. As far as I remember from my own medical, you need to take some paperwork to the doctor for them to fill out and sign. I understand things are digital now, but don't they need a code or a number or something to find the applicant or create a file for them.

Your UCI no is necessary for uploading to CIC in the case of upfront medical.You may also provide them your file no.
