Hi everyone

I wanted to apply for my parents in 2016 but our income in 2012 is less. Can I still send the application anyway with 2015 pay stubs?? . The problem is my brother who is dependent is turning 17. So if I won't apply this year then I will only have one year left . I'm so confused. Please help ... Thank you

No you can't use pay stubs, the only acceptable proof of income is CRA tax returns.

For every province except Quebec, you need income from 2012, 2013 and 2014 meeting MNI amount based on family size today. If you only start qualifying wit 2013 income, then you need to wait until Jan 2017 to apply.

Note that Liberal government has promised to increase age of dependent back to age 21 and under, though it's unknown when this will be implemented.

Your application will get rejected on account that you dont meet the 2012 lico requirement. It doesnt matter if your brother is a dependent or not. It will get rejected. Either you get your spouse to sign as co-signer and meet the 2012 lico requirement or you wait until 2017 when you meet 2013, 2014 and 2015 lico. Your brother will be 18 by the time you apply in 2017 which is perfectly safe since your brother is still a dependent in jan 2017 pgp since he is not 19 in jan 2017 pgp application.

In the Form Financial Evaluation for PGP Sponsorship Column 8 MINIMUMNECESSARY INCOME----In the guide it is mentioned that Indicate the mINIMUMiNCOME required in order to sponsor the number of persons included in Question 7 based on the Federal Income Table for PGP Sponsorship.
We are 5 persons.What amount to mention?

Should I mention 62023/-?
I suppose and considering your reply somewhere on this thread this MNI is LICO +30%.

Hi all, I'm filling the Schedule A form and in question 7 - education - I don't have enough space to write the complete "name of Institution" and "Field of study"
Does anybody now if there is a way to change the font for these fields to fit the complete name, or is there another way to do it?

Have you filled both your mother and brother's personal details in DEPENDENT(S) section? The form tries to match the number (in your case, 3) you put in Q#3 with the number of people that filled 'personal details'. So, your father, as the principal applicant, should fill his personal details starting on 1st page right after application details. When you come to dependent(s) section, you should add your mother first with her personal details and then followed by your brother.

This was my bad, I failed to put my mother's info. I should have read the form's instructions lol ;D

Why do you need school cert. for your parents now? I don't think it's required anytime now or later. Follow checklist.

I know what I need for now is just their passport and marriage certificate. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or way beyond the steps, I was thinking that CIC would ask them their credentials in the future.

3. The 'family size' on question 15 refers only to the sponsor's family?

I have a couple of questions ,hope some of you could help!
I am thinking of sponsering my mother to Canada .....i am a stay at home ...which means i did not make any money for the last three years .but my husband is becoming my co-signer and we make more than the min income that you are suppose to reach as a family...do u guys think CiC will accept that?

My second questions : i didn use birth certificate as part of my application when my husband sponsered me .......becuose i coudn't find one ......but right now i can manage to reissue one from my country of birth ......but i am kinda scared if i put my self in trouple by not bringing it to CIC in first place ..as you now if you are sponsering parents you should have birth certificate to proof the relationship between two of you .
.....any advice plz..

IMM0008 is for the applicant and not for the sponsor.

If the applicant is planning to settle in Quebec, then CSQ is needed. If you have answered question No.(5) as Quebec (QC) then only you have to answer question (6). If you have answered any other province, then question (6) with all sub questions will be blanked out.

I think this answer will suffice.
