Hello all, I am a new user here and I just wanted to say that I've resorted to this forum before in other instances for help but I never got around to making an account (till now) and I wanted to say first and foremost that from everything I've seen there's great people here and helpful people too! so thanks for that.
My wife who is a Canadian born citizen is sponsoring me via outland, they received the application on April 26, 2017 and the decision was made to allow her to sponsor me so they sent the information to the Visa Office in Mexico (that's where I am from) to proceed with the next steps now for the Permanent Resident part of the application it says

- We received application for permanent residence on April 26, 2017.
- We started processing application on September 12, 2017.
- Medical results have been received.

they asked me for me to send in my pictures and for the criminal check on October 4th and told me I had till November 4th to comply with the requested information, I went to the PGR (Federal police in Mexico) I asked them for the Police check and provided them with the required info and was asked to wait 10 business days for them to give it to me, I waited and meanwhile I got my pictures taken, anyways once I got the police certificate I was asked to also translate it to English via an official translator and I did that also and I sent them:
- Criminal check via the PGR
- Criminal check translated to English via an official/professional translator
- the 2 photos with the correct specifications and info written on 1 photo on the back of the photo
Finally I sent them the information on October 26th and they received it on October 27th.
Now, I would like to know,
what steps are coming moving forward?
is the end of this process any time soon? or is there still long ways to go? I tried looking for an answer to this but I couldn't find anything.. I know times vary but I want to hear about other people's experiences, I've heard that when they ask for the pictures and Police check that it's usually the end UNLESS they ask for an interview of some sort.. I need help, thanks to you all who are a wonderful community of people and this forum.
