Timelines for landing

Dear Friends,

Can anyone confirm on the maximum timeline that CIC provides for flag poling/landing.

Is it 6months?

E.g. let’s say I get a Confirmation of PR on April 1st, and then also send my passport to Ottawa and get it back by April 10th, will I have time till Oct 10th to get the landing done?

Usually, CoPR is valid for one year from date of Medical Exam.

If more than 1 year, how to submit remedicals? While landing or should we send to CIC and get approvals again for landing?
