hi guys - inland application for PR (British national).

How long after from the medical request do you get AIP and then pr Card?

You don't get a PR Card, you get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) document with an expiry date that you must land in Canada before and declare PR. For timescales, please see the spreadsheet link in my signature line - expect 8 - 11 months for a straightforward British PA from the date received in C PC Sydney to the date the decision is made.

Some reading on the various stages and what happens after here:

Thanks. Is this timeline for inland or Outland? I assume I can just cross the border and come back from the US to declare PR?

Sorry, missed your 'inland' bit (just got up morning things!)!

The timelines in the spreadsheet are outland only, but inland is no faster I'm afraid.

As regards 'landing' you will be sent an interview date, time and location for a specific CIC office. You go there and they 'land' you and apply for your PR Card then.
