Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

Its a small construction Co. and I worked there as Financial Controler

If u applied under family stream then u will not get any call. Now its more chance u will not get call after medical..

If u don't mind plz can you tell me how long it took to get medical request after you applied to delhi..plz let me know.

Its not under family stream, applied under FSW "Single"
It took aprox. 5 months

Hi all,

There is good news for my family. I received all our passports stamped this afternoon. The visa was stamped on Feb 2nd, mailed on Feb 4th and received on Feb 7th afternoon. Ecas still says "in process".

Good luck to all those in the line. I am sure you all will get your PPR soon.

I have not decided when I will be flying to Canada. Will make a decision soon.

Hello,

I am right now staying in Canada. I applied for Canada PR at New Delhi, India CHC. I received my medicals request from embassy a few days back, which took around 30 days to get to Canada. I have few doubts regarding the process. Please advise me as I am really in confusion.
1. I have undergone the medical examination yesterday. DMP told me that he will forward the medical reports to Ottawa. But, should I request him for a letter (saying that I completed my medicals) and sent it to New Delhi CHC.
2. When should I send the passports to CHC? Because, in the letter sent by CHC they said “If you reside outside India, do not send your passports until requested to do so in a separate letter”. So, shall I wait for CHC to send another letter or should I send it now itself? I am worried because it will delay my process as it takes long time to mail the letter to Canada.
3. Is there anybody who had a similar experience?
4. Is it only I received this kind of letter (asking to submit passport later because I am not in India) or will they ask everyone to send the passport immediately after the medicals in the letter?

Anyone in similar situation, please share your experience/advise me. Experts plz reply.

1. No you don’t need to ask doctor to get letter. Embassy sent u doctor list where u undergo the medical. Its doctor responsibility to sent you medical to embassy.
2. If embassy didn’t ask you for passport then you can’t send to them. They will send you letter to send a passport. Don’t send you passport yourself because then embassy will not be responsible for any lost.
3. Sorry i don’ have similar experience.
4. Yes they will send you letter for passport request. Sometime it take more time to get request for passport.

If some1 can help. My friend got medical request n asking for passport. He have new passport but he lost his old passport. Now Canadian Embassy asking him to send his new passport along with old expiry passport.
He lost his old passport 6 months back. Plz can some 1 advice what to do.
1. Do he need to send police report with his new passport to embassy.
2. Is it ok to send just covering letter to tell them that he lost his passport.
Plz advice as soon as possible.

u also send police report with u r new passport , in u r new passport in the back side of the passport the passport off write their "old passport was lost" ,so u need to attach police report wth u r new passport bye

hi,
in this thread, only we two (me, akm) left to get visa after sending passports since last 4 months. Rest others, are on very early stage. if you guys have any questions let us know. also keep posting any updates also.

Also the person who got visa, rarely log into this site. I would request to MC and others to keep posting...Thanks,
