Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

Hello seniors,

I need a help,i am residing in Canada and applied for PR in NDVO under PNP program,i got a medical and Passport request from Hong kong visa office on 31st may 2012,because NDVO transferred my file to HKVO and i mailed my passport 11th june and new delhi gets my passport 0n 14th june( i checked through courier)

My ecas status shows

You application received on 17th February 2012
we started application on 21st may 2012
medical received(28th june 2012)

Status shows ...in process

Is anybody have any idea why NDVo taking too long?

Well, I hope you didn't mail your passport from Canada to India.
When I Had applied for my PR the processing time increased from 5 - 9 months and now It's 10 months. For me everything got done within the mentioned processing time, hopefully they do it the same way for you, I have noticed that for applicants who already have a valid visa for Canada, CHC -ND takes their cases in priority. I have seen that for majority of the applicants who apply from within India, they have to wait longer.
AND I am surprised that they have forwarded your file to Hong Kong !

Why did you sent it by post, it's very risky and on top of that it's illegal.
You should have gone personally to India and post it from there.

i sent my passport on 8th, Aug and its been delivered today to CHC newdelhi. i just checked on fedex site!!

My timeline:
PPR/MR/RPRF: 16 july 12
Medical done: 25 july 12
PP/RPRF/Medical receipt sent: 28 july 12
Received at NDVO: 30 July 12
ECAS: In process. Medical received not added.
DD: Not encashed.
Anyone has an idea how much more time for PP to be sent back?
Also can i change job now? Would it affect my application?

I suggest you not to change the job at this moment, it will increase the processing time. If you change your job you will have to inform CIC of this as they are required to do a Background & security check, this will be an additional task for them. I too had this dilemma but after talking to people i got the suggestion of not doing it. Your is not too away now, don't mess it up

Hey Ruplinder...... we r both in the same situation I guess....... I did send a mail to the CHC Delhi asking if they received my passports but i still haven't got any reply from them..... Just hoping that it doesn't take them very long to finish the process...... !! keeping my fingers crossed !!

I am in the same situation as of you two. See my timelines. I did my medicals on 21st July but eCAS so far is not updated with medical received. I also had a concern whether Canadian High Commission actually received my Passports/RPRF/medical receipts and other documents or not but when i checked the status on courier website i got to know they have reached & after few days i checked with my bank & they told me the DD for RPRF is also encashed so this gives the surety that they have received the consignment.

Mrs. Chaddha - As in your case your husband has to go abroad for work purpose but cannot as he doesnot have his passport i also have the same problem. I would be asked anytime to produce my passport at my office but my Passport is not in my possession at present. So just praying to god that CIC return it ASAP.

However, they sent my RPRF draft back, saying that the draft was not computer generated. How weird is that? Shouldn't they be just concerned with the fee being paid in full. Draft computerised or not, how does that matter. I have got a new one made today only and sent to NDVO. Very disappointed.. It must have delayed my processing ! (

Something very strange happened today... I received a registered post from NDVO, Was very excited and was anticipating my PP with magic sticker. However, they sent my RPRF draft back, saying that the draft was not computer generated. How weird is that? Shouldn't they be just concerned with the fee being paid in full. Draft computerised or not, how does that matter. I have got a new one made today only and sent to NDVO. Very disappointed.. It must have delayed my processing ! (

Thanks !!! Trying to... All these things are very discouraging though.. Things they fail to mention on cic website... Desperate to get my visa.. Pray for me plz.. God bless all !!!
