Hi

I have been told that 6 months is the maximum time for processing an application. Is this correct?

you have been lied to. if you'r chosen for security screening or your name rhymes with obama bin laden you are in for a 3+ year wait.

Its 6 months as per CIC if there is no problem in your case else it can take upto 1 year.

6 months for 80% cases is the IRCC claim. Whether you belong to the 80% or 20%, you would never know until you know
